The other problem, aside from the outdated profiles are the seemingly large amount of fake profiles. However, if you are willing to spend some time to sift through, AFF might be just the site if you’re searching for a hook up.

There are also enhancements that you can purchase along with your Gold membership such as the ability to allow standard members to have access to your full profile and to be able to contact you. You can also purchase highlight listings so your profile stands out in search results and email. Finally, if you’re really horny, you can purchase access to all the adult movies you can handle. I personally think the only reasonable upgrade is the ability to have your profile stand out for an additional $9.99 a month, however during my time writing this Adult Friend Finder review, I didn’t find it necessary.

If you do decide to become a Gold member with Adult Friend Finder, you might at first become slightly overwhelmed by the number of people in your area, however this should be taken with a grain of salt. There are a fair amount of fake profiles or escorts on the site as well as profiles of members who have long abandoned the site. That doesn’t mean that you won’t find anyone, especially if you are from a large metropolitan area like Boston or NYC, however you should be prepared to spend some time finding someone for a casual, no-strings relationship.
The advanced search feature on the AFF website is pretty fantastic. You can easily find people based on all sorts of criteria such as sexual preference, whether they have erotic photos, what type of relationship they are looking for, etc. You’ll definitely be able to find people who are a perfect match for what you are looking for.
Final Thoughts
Adult Friend Finder is definitely a dating service for singles who are looking for a short term fling and not a serious long term relationship. You will be able to find someone to hook up with, however you should be prepared for a lot of people who are looking to scam you or for escorts who will want additional money.
